This will be a hands on, highly rewarding role, working directly with the finance director covering group finance, as well as some operational and HR duties. You will help to shape the infrastructure within the firm and create a scalable and efficient finance function. The day-to-day responsibilities will cover management/financial accounting, VAT returns, regulatory reporting etc. across their European jurisdictions. They have a heavily weighted outsourced model which supports with the preparation/tax and reg advise, and also have a bookkeeper working in-house supporting with transactional duties.

The firm are looking for a qualified accountant with minimum 3 years PQE. It is important to have experience preparing UK VAT returns and be confident preparing accounts under IFRS / UK GAAP. Previous experience working within the Financial Services space is essential.
