The role itself is unique. While taking on typical fund accountant roles, the candidate will have eyes and ears on the operations as well. They will help to deal with investor queries and have an active dialogue with them. This allows for a broader remit than traditional fund accountant roles, greatly assisting your growth and development.
Given its progress to date, it is likely this role will evolve more over time. As part of a small team, no role is siloed, and you will have exposure to fund accounting, operations, valuation, risk and providing analytical support to the Front Office. The administrators will do a lot of the heavy lifting, freeing up your time to focus on more commercial responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years’ experience, preferably in a fund accounting/administration role. They will be hardworking and intellectually curious. There is a strong emphasis on culture, and an enthusiasm and commitment that matches this team environment is essential.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain further experience as part of a growing fund with much ambition. The exposure to operations and investor relations will provide a solid foundation to pursue a senior position in the future.
