An expanding multi-million AUM equities asset manager in full growth mode are looking to hire a new Investor Relations/Marketer/Relationship Manager to oversee and manage their growing European investor base. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IR candidate looking to transition into sales, as a rolodex of contacts is not necessary. The business is incredibly lean, giving the new hire plenty of room to grow and develop.
My client is seeking an experienced BDIR hybrid with a strong IR background to come into an established small team and take responsibility for raising assets across EMEA. Having a deep and technical expertise in equities, in combination with a proven track record in an IR/RM capacity, are key for the incoming hire. This hire will effectively be the No 2 to the Head of Sales, but have sole responsibility for raising assets across Europe. In addition to a growing AUM, my client are launching a new fund in the coming months.
The ideal candidate will have between 4-7 years of experience, be very mature and polished. We are looking for a dedicated and technical individual, who is happy to sit in a hands-on role, with the opportunity to have a palpable impact on the growth of the business. Experience with raising assets is desirable but not essential, if the candidates are able to demonstrate good market awareness and deep technical skills.
