A rapidly expanding, boutique private equity firm (albeit with a circa $5bn AUM) are looking to make a newly created marketing hire.
The firm currently have an asset raiser (head of marketing) and a CIO that both lead marketing for the firm. Due to rapid, recent expansion they now require a dedicated junior to work under them. The hire will handle all marketing support responsibilities, in a role that provides a unique opportunity for an individual to shadow both a market leading asset raising professional + a highly renowned CIO, making both learning/development potential and progression options unrivalled for a role at this level.
The appointee will assist with a range of activities to support the marketing, communication and fundraising processes. Working as part of a small team you will have an opportunity to make a significant contribution in this varied role. Responsibilities will include creating presentations, marketing and due diligence materials, drafting private placement memorandum, investor reporting, preparations for the annual investor meeting, dealing with investor requests for information and data room maintenance. The firm has a very flat structure and is highly collaborative. Strong egos are not tolerated and everyone in the firm is very friendly. The hire should be keen to prove themselves and take on client management responsibilities.
We are looking to hire a bright graduate, ideally with 1-3yrs direct experience in the private equity space (there is flexibility to make a more senior level hire). This would ideally have been spent in marketing support, however an individual working in PE operations, finance or any area of front office support (within reason) could be relevant if that person is looking for a longer-term career in marketing or investments.
The role will ideally pay a circa 50k base salary + a good % of that number as a bonus payment, however there is flexibility to increase the base up to 60k. A great work life balance, culture and benefits package is provided.
