Reporting directly in to the CEO, in an office of 15 people, the hire will be joining at a crucial point in the firm’s development. The firm will not focus on additional marketing until they have a prolonged period of positive performance post-launch, so there is currently no need to hire a stand-alone asset raiser. The firm do however require somebody to cover investor relations tasks to service existing clients + support work that will go in to future fundraising processes. Responsibilities include keeping in contact with current and potential investors (send them necessary reports, fund + market analysis and generally keeping in conversation with them), tracking potential investors that the partners have targeted and executing on marketing materials, presentations and newsletters. The hire will also be the first point of call for questions/queries that come in to the firm. The hire can also expect to support the managing partners of the firm on numerous ad-hoc research/reporting/analytical tasks - for example, the hire will prepare meeting prep/analysis/intel on companies that the partners will meet with.
We can only consider candidates that possess strong academic records. We are looking for candidates with junior level experience, either from a hedge fund or top tier IB – this will be either as a current IR professional looking for a new challenge with great growth prospects; a very bright office manager that feels wasted in his/her role; a hedge fund/IB operations analyst that is looking to develop a career in marketing.
The role has a budget of 45-65k base, depending on the level of experience. You will also be offered a generous bonus, possibly amounting to a large % of base for a strong performer.
