A well seeded and backed equities HF launch, in serious growth mode, are expanding their team in London and looking for a junior marketer. The new hire will be focusing on managing relationships across Europe and, in time, grow into the sole EMEA Business Development lead for the fund. Working closely with the CEO and the Family Office that is seeding and funding the growth of the HF, the incoming hire will be able to leverage the existing relations and is not required to come with a rolodex. Aside from a growing team in London and NYC, my client is ready to launch another new fund by the end of the year.
We are looking for a very sharp and technical juniors with 2-4 years of experience in sales, prime broking, product specialist or investor relations. The new hire will be working closely with the CEO to learn the ropes and initially sit in an RM/IR role with a view to grow into a fully-fledged asset raised in the coming 2 years.
The new hire must be highly intellectual and a dynamic go-getter, yet humble and committed to the growth of the fund. Having a deep equities background will be highly advantageous. Both teams in London and NYC are very lean, so having a mature and poised team-player who is able to manage high-profile stakeholders coming into this role is crucial.
