Programme Director – Legal Entity Change

Location: London   Sectors Change Management  

This role will involve:

  • Development of an effective planning structure which encapsulates all delivery and implementation requirements
  • Ensuring that business requirements of key stakeholders are embedded within the overall programme plan
  • Ensuring that the governance and delivery of the programme is in line with the standard business initiative framework
  • Interfacing with relevant stakeholders and facilitating timely decision making to maintain scope, schedule and budget
  • Providing regular reporting on the progress of projects under the overall initiative for distribution to senior management and stakeholder committees
  • Establish and implement risk management practices (risk identification, defect prevention, escalations), providing reporting and escalation to senior management
  • Working across multiple functional areas to implement change effectively
  • This role will grow and evolve as the Programme progresses and duties will evolve based on requirements

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 2:1 Honours Degree of better (Masters/ MBA qualification would be an advantage)
  • Extensive (minimum 10 years) Full life cycle Programme Management experience within a Financial Services environment, managing complex, cross functional business initiatives
  • Broad and deep knowledge of the Financial Services industry
  • Experience managing a new bank authorisation and commencement process under the Financial Services and Markets Act
  • Delivery focussed with the ability to motivate project staff (including remote staff)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills , able to communicate effectively across all levels of the business


  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • Experience of development methodologies
  • Experience managing a Part VIII transfer process
