A multi-billion dollar AUM asset manager are looking to make a key marketing support hire.
This is a newly created hire to take ownership over the RFP process. RFP’s can take 25-33% of the current business development team’s time and so a specialist hire will take weight off their broad remit. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hire to work with initiative and create a small RFP function for themselves / look at tech solutions that will improve internal processes around RFP.
We are looking for candidates with a solid academic profile. You should have 5-10 years relevant buy-side RFP experience. The hire should be comfortable owning the process and working hands-on (rather than being a manager).
As a new position, that is crucial to the firm’s development, my client will not give a specific budget – they want to hire the right person for the role. The successful candidate can therefore expect a 10-20% increase on current base salary. We are confident that by offering the hire the potential for a large % bonus, this will be a hugely attractive role financially for an RFP specialist.
