A multi-billion dollar AUM New York HQ multi-strategy Hedge Fund, rapidly developing its presence in Europe, are looking to hire an Operations Manager for its expanding London office.

The hire will report directly into the EMEA COO, facing off to the full European investment team (this is still a relatively boutique London office). The role has a hands on hybrid operations/TA remit + oversight of 2 operations analysts. The majority of operational processes are outsourced, so most BAU responsibilities are focused on oversight and analysis. A tech savvy hire will have the opportunity to develop SQL and Python skills – infrastructure development & automation projects can form an important part of the role.

As the firm build out, it is possible to take on a larger team and a more senior level title, however candidates should appreciate that this remains a hands-on role.

The role is budgeted to roughly pay up to a £150k base salary and a 50-100% bonus potential.

Candidates should have 5-10yrs relevant senior operations / middle office experience, ideally having covered a broad range of products / asset classes. Advanced tech skills would be very useful and a strong academic profile is preferred.
