My client, a market-leading multi strategy hedge fund, is seeking a Repo Trader to join their fixed income relative value investment team.

This role will sit in the investment team with connectivity to the central treasury function, working across repo financing while facing off to industry-leading Portfolio Managers and Traders. Additionally, the team is keen to expand its existing APAC rates strategies and would highly prefer individuals with any experience trading APAC repo.

In terms of requirements, the right candidate should have:

· Experience on a repo trading desk, either in a bank or buy-side institution, and excellent knowledge of fixed income products

· A keen interest in fixed income markets, macroeconomic events and fiscal policy.

· Strong academics preferred

· Strong technical abilities (Excel/VBA preferred) and analytical skills.

· Excellent communication skills are also a core requirement.

This role offers extensive exposure to the fund's PMs and has scope for a strong performer to progress into a risk-taking seat, making it an excellent opportunity.
