HR Business Partner (Investment) - Hedge Fund – up to £300k TC + Sign on Bonus

My client, a multi-billion dollar AUM multi-strategy hedge fund, are looking to hire a HR Business Partner to take ownership for their EMEA Investment & Sales teams, closely supporting the Head of HR, from the firm’s rapidly expanding office in London.

Reporting into the Head of HR and working directly with heads of trading, investment research and sales, the hire will take ownership of all investment business lines as the dedicated HRBP - managing HR processes, policy development and roll out + ensuring that people strategy is aligned with wider business growth objectives.

The firm are looking for a strong HR professional that can leverage their generalist skillset to drive a broad remit that also has a focus on complex compensation management, year-end processes and talent retention / management. The hire will also play a key role in managing firm’s SMCR and other HR regulatory requirements pertaining to investment professionals.

Candidates should have experience as a HR Business Partner at a leading asset manager, hedge fund or investment bank, supporting front office teams. Candidates should also have experience delivering/owning SMCR requirements and working with a growing client group. Strong academics are a requirement, as are impeccable communication and presentation skills.

This is a business-critical hire, working for a firm that pay some of the highest compensation packages to non-investment staff in the London FS space. The successful hire can expect a very attractive step up on his/her current base salary and a large % of this number as a bonus if they perform to a high standard. The firm are offering large sign-on bonus incentives to comfortably cover any loss of earnings moving pre-bonus.
