This is a stand-alone SME role, for the firm’s flagship European loans business. The hire will ‘bridge the gap’ between operations and the deal team + he/she will be facing off to external counterparties / the street - you will sit with the deal execution team that you directly support (operations sit on a different floor). The intention is for the hire to bring in 1-2 juniors and become a ‘head of’. Naturally, the proximity of the role to front office / senior management also provides varied progression prospects.
Candidates must be from a specialist credit / loans background, ideally having worked with a variety of instruments. You will have 5-10yrs relevant operations / middle office experience. Strong change / project management skills are preferred, whilst advanced tech skills would be very useful.
The role can pay up to an £85k base salary. A target bonus range is provided, the peak of which makes up a very large % of base.
