The firm is currently undergoing high levels of growth and has been for the last five years and therefore my client requires an individual to lead their investor relations efforts in London for one of their leading fund series. The firm have been one of the top performing private equity investment managers across a number of sectors.

The successful candidate will have sole ownership of the IR remit in the UK for a specific fund series, this includes facing off to investors from day one and being the first point of contact for any client queries (you will have the opportunity to attend investor meetings and roadshows). Beyond this, the hire will be responsible for marketing materials, presentations and pitchbooks. Through undertaking these tasks you will gain extensive exposure to the investment team (industry leading portfolio managers) who are heavily embedded in the sales and investor relations efforts.

The successful candidate will report directly into the Head of Sales, who heads sales for all the firms strategies. The role will involve extensive exposure to the firms sales effort, attending roadshows, investor pitches and handling smaller investors and there is the possibility for progression into a sales role.

Candidates should have 5+ years of investor relations experience within a reputable buy-side firm. While private equity experience is not a necessity, experience with broader alternative strategies is heavily favoured, including hedge funds.

The role will pay a six figure base salary and a large % bonus given the fund and the individual perform to a high standard.
