A market leading Alternative Asset Manager is looking to hire a newly created, broad role for its high performing fixed income front office.

The hire will sit on the credit investment desk. The remit is to run trading (the hire will run his/her own P&L) and risk management for a specific book + some operational components (trade bookings and reconciliation).

The team operates in a collaborative environment and is dedicated to continuous process improvement. As such, team members develop advanced technical skills such as Python and advanced Excel.

A strong academic profile is required. Candidates should have 2-5 years experience in a trade support/operations/middle office/trader assistant role, looking for his/her first front office position. Candidates should ideally come from a top tier IB background, working directly with either Fixed Income/Rates/Credit trading desks. Advanced excel skills are ia pre-requisite. Any Python skills / a desire to learn Python is preferred.

The role will roughly pay a £70-80k base salary, with an attractive bonus component taken from the front office pool (please note as you will be managing your own PnL and book, bonus is heavily dependent on your own performance, as well as fund performance).
